BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair, a leading art book festival in Asia, returns for its second edition from 16 to 19 January 2020 (including a preview on Thursday, 16 January).

With over 80 local, regional, and international exhibitors taking part, BOOKED: will serve as a platform for the diverse range of artistic and publishing practices at the intersection of” art” and “books”. What is presented includes (but is not limited to) artists’ books, photography books, art albums, zines, art catalogues, art history and theoretical texts, artists’ editions and gallery editions (e.g. prints), texts by artists, book arts and book sculptures, as well as art-related ephemera such as tote bags, pins, and badges.

Alongside a programme of talks, live events, displays, workshops, among others, BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair will also be accompanied by a special project, OVERBOOKED:, which extends beyond the art book fair until 28 January 2020, and features the work of nine international and local artists: Fiona Banner aka the Vanity Press (London, UK), Karl Holmqvist (Berlin, Germany), Toshio Matsumoto (Japan), Aleksandra Mir (London, UK), Mai-Thu Perret (Geneva, Switzerland), Kay Rosen (Gary, Indiana & New York, US), Aïda Ruilova (New York, US), Tsang Kin Wah (Hong Kong SAR), and Wan Lai Kuen Annie (Hong Kong SAR).
