Public Guided Tours

Discover the rich heritage of Tai Kwun and highlights of current exhibitions with a docent-led tour free of charge. Offered daily, Tai Kwun Guided Tours bring you on a journey to explore the historical significance of this unique heritage site. Special tours are available during designated exhibition periods where you can learn more about the curatorial concepts and artists behind the works. We also host a selection of educational tours and arrangements for students from kindergartens to tertiary institutions. Find out more about the tours below.

Self-Guided Walks

Accessible Guided Tours

For enquiry and group registration

We provide accessible tours for people with different needs. Barrier-free routes facilitated by adjusted tour content, sign interpretation, audio description and tactile tools are available for groups with different needs and learning styles. Individual participants can choose “Barrier-free Access” when signing up for the daily Tai Kwun Guided Tours, our staff will provide assistance with using barrier-free facilities.

Corporate Guided Tours

Tai Kwun organises guided tours for corporates, organizations and travelers, and can tailor tours for different functions, schedules or languages. These 30-45 minutes walking tours take visitors on a journey covering 170 years of communities stories made alive by painstaking conservation works throughout this new center for heritage and arts for all Hong Kong people. Bookings need to be made at least 10 working days in advance and are subject to site availability.

Service Fee (HKD): $4,000/ Maximum 15 pax

Language available: Cantonese, English & Putonghua

These tours are only available during weekdays between 11am to 6pm. Request for alternative arrangements are subject to availability and may involve additional fees.

Group Entry

Any organisation planning to visit in a group of 16 visitors or above are advised to register at least 14 days in advance before the preferred date of visit. The Tai Kwun Visitor Experience team will suggest an appropriate itinerary covering your arrival details, meeting points, on-site facilities, and specific programmes and routes to ensure all members of your group make the most of their Tai Kwun journey.

Special Arrangement of Rehabus Drop Off

Parking spaces are unavailable at Tai Kwun. If a Rehabus is arranged as transportation to Tai Kwun, a drop-off point will be arranged at the Loading Bay. Rehabus Drop-Off Arrangement applications will be considered based on operational feasibility.
