Does creation end with the completion of the work, or rather does it start when the performer steps on the stage?

This video will bring you to the creative process of choreographer Wong Pik Kei Rebecca. From idea formation, thematic research, to the interaction with the creative and production team, this video will give you a sneak peak of UnderLine, a new creation of Wong commissioned by Tai Kwun.

Wong’s recent creation focus on the struggle and relationship between desire and the society, culture and power. Her first collaboration with Tai Kwun was in 2018 with the creation of Bird-Watching. They continue their collaboration this year as Wong develops UnderLine.

Video would be available here from 20 Sep, for free. Stay tuned and don’t miss it.
