A 100% Hong Kong trained and internationally awarded troupe, the CBO Juggling Team has over a decade’s experience in various forms of juggling arts and has developed their unique style of dynamic plate-spinning. CBO Team will proudly showcase their signature acts and reveal the intriguing “Golden Four” plate-spinning tricks to visitors of Tai Kwun, sharing the joy and spirit of this all-age-friendly artistry.

Balloon Art Workshop

Ms. Siu Siu Balloon dresses up in front of the mirror, but something is missing. “Oh! A party hat!” Ms. Siu Siu goes to visit the Balloon Master Mr. Ting Yu and asks him to make a special hat for her. Suddenly, Mr. Ting Yu comes up with a new idea. “Why don’t we hold a hat party and invite everybody in town to make their own balloon hats?” 

Join Ms. Siu Siu and Mr. Ting Yu and learn to make your own balloon hats with your families and friends, and have fun with color and music!

Special Remarks

  • Recommended for all ages
  • Each participant aged 6 and under must be accompanied by an adult, and only has to register for 1 quota; One person per quota for participants aged 7 and above
  • Workshops require physical movements. Participants are advised to consider his / her own physical condition before enrolling
  • Please wear comfortable clothing
  • Registered participants shall sign in in-person 15 minutes before the workshop. Any unclaimed quota may be released to walk-in participants 5 minutes before the event. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis

Chinese Freestyle Football Championship – First Runner-up

Hong Kong Freestyle Football Championship – Champion

Formed for over a decade, the CBO Juggling Team brings dynamic plate spinning to a higher level. Fusing various art forms from diabolo, juggling and precision dance, their one and only Hong Kong style performance earned them the First Runner-up at the International Jugglers’ Association Regional Competition – East Asia and the First Prize in Japan Juggling Festival.

CBO Juggling Team is passionate about promoting modern plate-spinning. Their performances included Chang Fei’s Big Shot Variety Show in Taiwan and TED x Youth. They also host youth juggling competitions in Hong Kong.

Balloon artist Ting Yu started working on balloon art in 2012 and has created various award-winning balloon artworks. Ting Yu has been appointed by the internationally-renowned balloon company Qualatex as an instructor in Asia, and he was encouraged to further his creation and promote balloon arts to the general public.

Siu Siu graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, majoring in contemporary dance. She is currently a freelance dancer and teacher at City Contemporary Dance Company. She works with various institutions as a choreographer, instructor and costume designer.

She is active in dance and theatre fields, and has participated in programmes including Heading Ahead, A Tribute to Thoreau, Love Canton Pop and Shanghai Romance presented by Community Cultural Ambassador Schemes; World of WearableArt and The Only King and And Then There’s You presented by Hong Kong Arts Festival as well as Crying Girls, Plastic Surgery, DanceViva, 1894 Hong Kong Plague, Hello, Dolly! and The Gnostic Eden, etc. She worked closely with various performing arts groups including DanceArt, Unlock Dancing Plaza, Hong Kong Dance Alliance, E-Side Dance Company, Hong Kong. Repertory Theatre, Theatre Ronin and The Studio Theatre for Love and Life. She also participated in cultural exchanges and performances in France, Taiwan and Guangzhou.
